Apocalyptic Summer Terms of Use

These terms govern your permission to download the "Apocalyptic Summer" stems (the "Stems") and participate in the Apocalyptic Summer human-made community project (the "Project") by creating a qualifying human-made version and uploading it to SoundCloud through the Project page.
Ownership
Authority Zero grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Stems solely to create a single human-made submission (the “Submission”) for the Project. Authority Zero retains all ownership of the original composition, lyrics, master recording, supplied stems, artwork, names, and trademarks. You may not redistribute, publish, sell, upload, or otherwise share any isolated stem or stem pack. You may share reasonably short excerpts of your Submission through your social media, as long as you link such posts to the Project or your SoundCloud upload. You agree to keep the source files private and use them only for this project.
Promotional Licensing
By entering your Submission into the Project, you grant Authority Zero a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, stream, host, embed, repost, publicly perform, display, excerpt, promote, and archive the Submission with reasonable attribution. You also permit the use of your name, bio, photo, social media handles, and submitted statements in the promotion of the Project.
Artificial Intelligence
The use of AI, machine learning, voice models, or tools advertised or presented as AI-powered in the submitted audio, artwork, text, video, or promotion is prohibited. Prohibited uses include AI composition of lyrics or arrangements; generated vocals, instruments or samples; vocal cloning or conversion; style imitation; stem extraction; generative fill; source replacement; AI mixing, mastering or restoration; and any material first generated by AI and then edited. Conventional non-AI DAW operations are allowed, including manual editing, EQ, compression, reverb, delay, automation, and traditional pitch correction. Properly licensed non-AI samples may be used. Authority Zero may request project screenshots, track and plugin lists, recording evidence, or a process explanation. A false declaration or failure to provide reasonable verification may result in rejection or removal from the playlist, reposts, features, and project archive.
Noncommercial Use
You may not sell, monetize, sublicense, commercially distribute, deliver the Submission to digital service providers ("DSPs"), register the Submission or underlying song, claim Content ID, use it for sync, or otherwise exploit the Submission commercially without prior written permission. Any official commercial release requires a separate signed agreement.
Noncompliance
Permission to use the Stems and participate in the Project ends automatically upon noncompliance with these terms, in which case, Authority Zero may require the removal of the Submission, excerpts, social posts, and all other related materials.
Project Discretion and Review
The Project has no deadline, judging, prize, winner, ranking, payment, guaranteed response, playlist placement, repost, feature, selection, or future opportunity. Authority Zero may periodically review eligible Submissions to be added to an official playlist, repost selected tracks, and spotlight independent artists. Authority Zero may reject or remove Submissions and may pause or end the project at any time, all in its sole discretion.
